Are You Writing Hashtags Correctly?

The symbol (#), known as hashtag,when it is used to mark keywords or topics in a Tweet by placing before the text.Hashtags are a Twitter staple. In fact, people from various continents and their interests bet bottom dollar on these to get and share information. Now Hashtag is used almost everywhere weather it is a  social network or a micro-blogging services #tag makes easier for users to find a specific theme, trend or content over the network. Hashtags can be inserted anywhere within a sentence.

So here i am gonna describe some facts that you should keep in mind while using hashtag.

Beginner’s Rule of Hashtags :

1. The # symbol only comes before the keywords you want to focus on.
2. Do not use apostrophes (‘) in the middle or in the end, including a period, comma or colon.
3. Try to use maximum of two hashtags in your tweets or posts. If you use too much your followers will think you are continuously spamming them.
4. Keep them Short will Avoid annoying your fans/friends.
5. Add words or letters to make it more distinguishable. Don’t use only numbers only as they are not gonna be searchable.
6. Do not use spaces between words while using # tag because these spaces will brake the links of your text.
7. You can use hashtags for your everyday things. For instance : #twitter or #gadgets or even #hairstyles.
8. Now a days many TV channels & many business are using hashtags to spread or increase their Ratings in the world wide.
9. At last, use less but informative and meaningful keywords to define your tags as they will give you the better result of your posts.
